05/09/11 - Dr. John Pollock receives Carnegie Science Award

Dr. Pollock, Principal Investigator of the Partnership in Education, received the Carnegie Science Award "Special Recognition in Science Education" at the Carnegie Science Awards ceremony on Friday, May 6. The ceremony was held at Carnegie Music Hall in Pittsburgh, PA.

Established by the Carnegie Science Center in 1997, the program recognizes and promotes the outstanding science and technology achievements of individuals in western Pennsylvania. Categories include awards for researchers, entrepreneurs, and secondary educators, among others.
